Howlin’ Rain ~ “Phantom In The Valley”

On Valentine’s Day, California psych rock outfit Howlin Rain will release their new long player The Russian Winds via American Recordings. The first track from that release, “Phantom In The Valley,” is now available for download via the band’s website. The nearly eight minute track shows the band paring down their sound, falling back under the label that frontman Ethan Miller gave the band in 2006—music to “sing along with while drinking whiskey in the bathtub, on a Saturday night, with your dog.” [via Jambands.com]
